Email notifications when approvers are added to removed

Currently approvers in a workflow are sent an email when a Delegation is put in place but no email is sent to an approver if they are added or removed from the workflow. It would be beneficial to the approver to know when they are being added or removed. It also would be a security feature. Thanks,
