Adding Statement Balances to Credit Card Review

I think a huge miss with this is not showing a previous statement balance and new statement balance. When we upload the statements for our credit cards and enter the transactions it's very hidden on the bottom that there is a balance off. It allows you to submit the statement and does not warn you that there is a discrepancy. If I have missed this then I know for sure my team is missing this. Client did a lot of digging on the P&L and the Balance sheet and eventually found that our starting balance was off but I feel that it took way too long to find it and could have been avoided the first time I entered a statement.
