Trial Balance printing

Since day one our firm has pretty much chosen to print the trial balance in excel.  By doing this we are able to eliminate the three empty columns between description and amount.  We are then able to print in portrait.  It allows us to have a report that could be only 3 pages and if we print in pdf it could be 7.

Commenting and voting to please fix this issue. We need comparative TB in portait mode. The noted extra columns are a nuisance and must be manually fixed by downloading into Excel, formatting, then print to PDF. Should not require the additional steps.

I agree, long time agillink user and the Trial Balance isn't great when printing to PDF. Agillink has got to let us print to PDF without printing to Excel first. You need to allow the user to make changes to the PDF before printing. no reason to have a 12 page document when it could be 4 pages like in the old system

The issue is really just about the fact that when you print the pdf it prints in landscape mode.  By printing in landscape it adds approximately 4 pieces of extra paper to a TB that could be print in 4 pages total.  This is because there is wasted space between the description column and the amount column.  Hope that is better ?

Hi, do you mind elaborating on what your needs are for the Trial Balance printing? Your description helps but we want to make sure we know exactly what needs to be fixed/enhanced. Thanks!

Trial balance reports are in landscape orientation but G/L reports are in portrait orientation. Seems like it should be the reverse. The trial balance reports have too much empty space. Or at least include grid lines so that we can see clearly acr...
