Being able to run an Income Statement for Custom Dates

I have been asked to run an Income Statement covering the periods August 30, 2022, through August 29, 2023, for rental agreement purposes. Currently custom period reporting is not available. The workaround is building a Report column that looks back 12 months to September 1, 2022, through August 29, 2023, and then run an Activity Report for August 30 and August 31.

Choosing custom periods would be very convenient for this purpose.
